Refund Policy

The short version

Plans change — we get it. Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event, transferable any time, and always refunded in full if we cancel.

Details

• More than 7 days before the event: full refund, no questions — email us or reply to your confirmation email.
• Within 7 days of the event: no cash refund, but you can transfer your ticket to a friend or carry the value to a future Open Invite event.
• We cancel: automatic full refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• We reschedule:your ticket carries over; if the new date doesn't work, request a full refund within 14 days of the announcement.
• Rain:outdoor events run rain or shine unless we say otherwise; check the event page's FAQ for its rain plan.

How to request a refund

Email hello@openinviteto.ca from the address you used at checkout, with the event name in the subject line. Refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method.
